Why Good Hygiene?

Personal hygiene growing up is something that your teachers and family members did not thoroughly explain to us. It was something that throughout our lives in a way we had to self-taught ourselves. Us growing up and now reflecting back on it there are some key points we wished people would have told us. Things that people were shy about but we want to be totally honest with everyone. And we ask ourselves the same question till this day; How do you maintain good personal hygiene? It varies from person to person but the main essential will be put down by us.

What I Learned?

Good personal hygiene is essential to promoting good health.Personal hygiene habits such as “wash hands before eating or preparing food, after going to the toilet, and after playing or touching animals or dirty things (raisingchildren.net)”. Bathing, brushing your teeth and applying deodorant when the time comes. It’s all about presenting a good persona. Hygiene is a cause and effect thing. It’s just like making bad decisions you will get a bad outcome on it. If a bad hygiene is kept some of the effects are “ Bacterial, and viral diseases as well as parasitic (Health.gov)”.

Some bacteria food poisoning, gastroenteritis diarrhea caused by Bacteriology, pneumonia, tracheostomy, and skin infections. Also, some viral diseases are; hepatitis A, gastroenteritis, and colds and flu. But you can avoid all this and much more by being clean with your body. Making healthy choices as you are growing up so when you get older they just become part of your daily routine. When you’re body is making radical changes is produces “2 to 4 million sweat glands (Teen Health)”.  So keeping a healthy life is highly important.

Improvements?

Some things we could improve on in our health fair project was finding more information and evidence with the information that is found. Things could have been more organized as well.
